NEON FOUNDRY IDLE · UPGRADE GUIDE
Automate early, multiply later
Manual taps start the reactor, but lasting progress comes from production per second, multipliers, offline storage, and well-timed quantum cores.

Buy the first drone before over-upgrading taps
Tap power helps at the start, but drones keep producing without repeated input. Unlock automation early, then use taps to bridge the wait to the next upgrade.
Compare cost with production gained
When two upgrades are affordable, prefer the one that creates the larger immediate increase in energy per second. Grid multipliers become more valuable after several drone levels are active.
Increase storage before a long break
Dark Storage extends the offline production cap. Buy it before leaving for hours; during an active session, production upgrades usually pay back sooner.
Prestige only when at least one core is ready
Quantum cores reset the current run but permanently strengthen future production. Wait until the displayed prestige gain is meaningful, then rebuild automation first to recover quickly.
